Medicare supplements are insurance plans which meet the design of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and are approved by the states to cover the copayments and deductibes that medicare does not pay.

There are a huge number of medicare plan options, however the three most popular with our clients are:

• Medicare F Supplement: Pays 100% of medicare part a and b copayments
• Medicare G Supplement: Pays 100% of medicare part a and part b copayments other than $162 part B deductible
• Medicare N Supplement: Pays most of medicare part a and b copayments other than $162 part B deductible, $20 maximum doctor visit copay, and $50 ER copay

All medicare supplements with a particular letter type cover the same copayments and deductibles as any other plan with the same letter type. The only difference is the price, and the way rates are calculated. You could be saving hundreds with the same coverage just by moving to a different insurance company.
