Indiana Medicare Advantage
Indiana Medicare Advantage is a group of plans regulated by the federal government, offered by private insurance companies that temporarily take the place of your medicare coverage on a year to year contract. They usually replace the standard medicare benefits with a defined network, and defined copayment amounts, rather than the deductible and coinsurance based medicare plans. The trade off is generally a more restrictive network than medicare alone or a supplement would have, at a lower monthly cost than a supplement, but with a higher amount at risk in copayments.
Indiana Medicare PPO | Indiana Medicare Advantage PPO
Indiana Medicare Advantage PPO plans are plans offered that have a defined network, but allow you to see out of network doctors at a higher sharing of cost, if the doctor agrees to accept the plan as payment.

Indiana Medicare HMO plans usually have a smaller, defined network that you have to stay inside of, but a lower monthly premium and lower copayments than PPO plans. You usually cannot go out of network except in cases of emergencies.
